Founder, Clinical Supervisor, OCD & Anxiety Disorder Specialist
Bri-Ann is the owner of A Little Counseling, PLLC, and has served as the Counseling Program Director and Clinical Supervisor for the past seven years. She has fifteen years of experience in the field, specializing in the treatment of anxiety disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Her ALC team excels in their clinical work with young children and adolescents, transcending the limits of traditional counseling for minors. Bri-Ann trains, mentors, supervises, and provides professional consultation to both new and established counselors. Her professional and clinical work is rooted in ethics, excellence, and a genuine nature.
“Mental health is a broad field with many different directions you can go in. I’ve never wanted to be the jack-of-all-trades. It’s always been my intention to specialize in something and do it well. Anxiety fascinates me with its many presentations—I absolutely love it! Over the years, I’ve continued my education and trained in many different treatment modalities that, truthfully, have not thrilled me. It wasn’t until I took an extensive training course in Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD and anxiety that everything changed for me. I was glued to the training for weeks, including weekends and weeknights! This was the first training in seven years that made me say, ‘YES, THAT’S MY NEXT STEP.’”
“A few months later, I opened A Little OCD Treatment Center—my passion project that I literally have no time for. But the truth is, when you’re passionate about something and believe in it, you make the time. So here we are!”
Bri-Ann believes that a strong therapeutic alliance, motivation, education, strengths and values, self-compassion, evidence-based treatment methods, and ongoing practice yield great treatment results. “Our goal here is to provide a top-notch, out-of-the-box experience that will help you ‘drop the disorder!’ This team believes in you!”
Bri-Ann spends most of her free time driving her two daughters to their activities, grocery shopping, and cleaning. She has three dogs (a Chihuahua and two Alaskan Klee Kai), loves fashion, makeup, interior design, coffee, and starts every day with a 5 a.m. run!
